Our terms and conditions of service are shown below.

Applicability

By registering with or transferring or moving to our services, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Unless stated otherwise, any disputes will be brought before the American Arbitration Association.

Payment

Domain name registrations cannot be reversed. For that reason, we will only make the registration after we receive your payment, and we can not reimburse a domain registration that has gone through.

It is theoretically possible that your registration fails due to a competing registrar reserving the same name on the same day. In the rare condition that happens, you will be provided with a gift certificate worth the same number of domain years as your payment; you can use these to pay for a new domain at a later time.

Take good care of spelling the domain name of your choice correctly; whatever name you choose is binding! We can't rely on software to be smarter than you.

Terms of Service

As an administrative contact for a domain name, you are responsible for the name of your choice as well as all services underneath it, and you will never let us or any of our suppliers be responsible for any effect thereof, even though we executed the domain name registration. In general, behave with good intentions and you should have no trouble. If misbehaviour is proven, we will go ahead and delete your domain.

Specifically, take note that not every ISP appreciates it if you set up an alias for their hostnames and/or IP numbers. Any problems caused by this are yours.

In order to use our domain name services, you must agree to the following two contracts: The Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy and the Tucows Registration Agreement.

Transfer and Termination

You have the freedom to change to another registrar at any time. In that case, please inform us and the other registrar. You may also terminate your domain registration without transferring it. It is never possible to receive money back for domain name registrations that went through.

Upon transferring your service to WontonGold, we will honor a pre-paid period with another registrar (but you must always pay for one additional year upon transferring). This means that transferring your domain to us incurs no loss to you. Be aware that other registrars may not always honor pre-paid registrarion periods with us.
